Important Point about Nalanda & Gaya : 1. Nalanda University was founded in 5th Century CE*. 2. Nalanda was abandoned during 13th Century CE (from 1197-1206)by Turkic attacker Bakhtiyar Khilji. 3. According to Xuansang(also known as hiuen tsang, stayed 2 years) & Yijing(stayed 14 years), Nalanda was built in honor of the Lotus Sutra(It's called final teaching of Lord Budha) 4. Other ancient Universities are : Taxila/Vikramshila/Pushpagiri/ Jagaddala 5. Nalanda was Residential School which can accomodate 10,000 students and 2000 teachers. 6. Biharsharif is also reffered as Odantapura during Ancient nalanda University. 7. Odantapuri University was located at Biharsharif which was established during 7th Century C.E. This University was located at the foot of Bari Pahari according to Tibetan record. 8. Acharya Shri Ganga of Vikramashila was a student of Odantapuri University. 9. Odantapura is also called as Uddandapura which was established by Pala Emperor Gopala. 1

Slaughter Houses case in U.P:  17,000 crore losses is estimated. 3 Lakh job is under problem.  According to government only Illegal slaughter houses will be closed.  In U.P 285 slaughter houses are licensed.  World's no 1 Beef Exporter : India (1st: U.P) In 2015 total no of meat is produced as 7.515 lakh kilo. 27,000 crore is earned by India through meat export. In this U.P contribution is 17,000 crore. In whole world buffalo meat is most demanded. India is exporting 20% meat of world's buffalo meat requirement. U.P has 28% buffalo of total buffalo in India.  U.P has 60 % slaughter houses of total india's slaughter. Bijnour, Amroha, chandpur consist most number of slaughter houses in Uttar Pradesh. Maharashtra has 316 slaughter houses which most of slaughter houses in India. Uttar Pradesh has aprox 36 slaughter houses which has licensed from central govt.
